There you go again shortcutting.:rimshot:

This is how much of an idiot I am. These fittings, for the #turbo end of the oil supply hose, only come in bright silvery zinc plating. It would be the ONLY silver components on either hoses (which are otherwise black). So I sent these out to be black zinc coated and then tested. No issues so now I’ll send all of the those fittings in to be black zinc plated. Completely unnecessary but my OCD rages and I need consistency 😳

So what would the power increase be for intake air temps like I had today. Ambient temperature was about -15°F

wow, that's really cool. What app is that and did you do a screen shot? If you did, it's a clean screen capture!

It's called Torque. I have the PRO version. Yes I did a screen shot. I use a bluetooth adapter in the OBD port. You can see my fuel trims are all over the place from my exhaust leak where the manifolds connect to the y pipe.

When its this cold out the 1FZ feels like it has 50% more power than during the summer. The difference the cold air makes Is amazing.

Hmm. A442F here but if I had dyno access and the required disposable funds it would be interesting to run mine now and after I install the Extreme Valvebody I have coming from Australia.
Turbo Lab Racing in Orem...spoke to them yesterday.
It sounds like we might have a lot more Utah data coming shortly.

Some 6bt diesel power, stock 80 power, SC 80 power and turbo kit 80 power. SO lots of comparable data at 4000ft of elevation....
I am going to take my 6BT 80 and SC LX450 to get numbers, will re-run the LX once the SC is removed to get NA numbers and then a final run with the LX once the Turbo is installed. This will give comparitive numbers for delta calcs eliminating the motor/vehicle variable.
Dan if you’re actually interested. The place that might be dynoing all the other 80’s is Turbo Lab Racing in Orem. They have a Dynojet 424 AWD just like the one Joey used. They have a price of $95 listed but maybe we can get a package deal of sorts?
I spoke to the owner last night and not much of a discount to be had given they are the only dyno in UT certified for CARB work and the go-to for product testing. If we wanted to go all out, we could book the dyno for the entire day and get to use all the data logging functionality and unlimited runs...$1500

I have Torque lite but never really played with it a whole bunch. Thanks for the info.

Sign me up as another taker if there’s a Utah dyno day!

Ugh. I pulled the trigger on a crap ton of hoses but one of them needs to be adjust just slightly after test fitting the new one. Luckily they haven't started yet. :(
