Hi guys,

I need an AA adapter to mate my SM465 to a fj40 transfercase.

Thank you.

I have this , never used. I have 2 spud shafts. I will look today and let you know
Cool!
Send pics and price.

Thank you.

This adapter only works with a V8 engine. I was making sure not to sell you a useless adapter. The F engine is too long for this adapter. The cross frame tube support would get in the way of the transfer case. I tried and ending up buying the plate style adapter for my 2F and sm465 with LC T-case. Pictures in a bit

I have a v8 sbc 5.7.

How much u asking?

So I have the following

-Adapter plate
-4 long bolts for the LC transfers case with the one bolt thinned out for gear clearance
-output shaft bearing, installed in the adapter
-2 spud shafts: 10 spline and 32 spline
-shifter plate adapter for transfer case

$300 plus shipping, I can get a quote if you give me address.

It’s $500+ on AA site.

Let me know spline count. I can give you both if you want.

Do you have the gaskets?
-The small bolts buy at hardware store that secure the sm465 to the adapter.
-The lock nut, buy at hardware store or order from Advanced adapters for the end of the spud shaft
-No gasket but use gasket maker
-The part numbers match
-The bearing is in the adapter already

It’s very simple to install this. The expensive items are the adapter and spud shaft as those are the machined parts.

The parts I don’t have are the small bolts, washers, felt gasket, nuts and lock nut.

Did you buy it brand new?

Did you buy it brand new?
Yes. It has never been used. I’ve had it sitting on a shelf for a few years in my garage. It was installed in my sm465 to LC transfer case but I could not install it. The setup was too long with the 2F motor. So I disassembled and the gaskets can’t be reused. I lost the small bolts.
