Do you have an F engine or a Chevy V8?Cool!
Send pics and price.
Thank you.
V8.Do you have an F engine or a Chevy V8?
I have a v8 sbc 5.7.This adapter only works with a V8 engine. I was making sure not to sell you a useless adapter. The F engine is too long for this adapter. The cross frame tube support would get in the way of the transfer case. I tried and ending up buying the plate style adapter for my 2F and sm465 with LC T-case. Pictures in a bit
Cool!Ok I will tomorrow
Can you send a good photo of the part number on the adapter?80 bucks UPS ground Wouk’s arrive next Monday
Can you send a good photo of the part number on the adapter?
Do you have the gaskets and other parts on this list?
-The small bolts buy at hardware store that secure the sm465 to the adapter. Can you send a good photo of the part number on the adapter?
Do you have the gaskets?
Did you buy it brand new?-The small bolts buy at hardware store that secure the sm465 to the adapter.
-The lock nut, buy at hardware store or order from Advanced adapters for the end of the spud shaft
-No gasket but use gasket maker
-The part numbers match
-The bearing is in the adapter already
It’s very simple to install this. The expensive items are the adapter and spud shaft as those are the machined parts.
The parts I don’t have are the small bolts, washers, felt gasket, nuts and lock nut.
Yes. It has never been used. I’ve had it sitting on a shelf for a few years in my garage. It was installed in my sm465 to LC transfer case but I could not install it. The setup was too long with the 2F motor. So I disassembled and the gaskets can’t be reused. I lost the small bolts.Did you buy it brand new?
