So what makes the Downey bellhousing better and stronger?

Which flywheel, clutch and pressure plate does the Downey require.

This will be going in a 1969 FJ55 with a 1998 L31 5.7 SBC.

The theory is that it’s stronger because it’s a 360 degree bellhousing. Maybe. I’ve never seen either kind break. But I do know that you can’t examine your clutch, fork and TO bearing with a 360 degree bellhousing.

And the 360 bellhousing is not designed to work with a starter that bolts to the engine block (which is 99.7% of engines)
