Tearing down the blown engine out of my 1974 FJ55. The engine has sat outside for three years, the pistons are currently seized. The previous owner didn't give much detail on how the engine blew, but so far I haven't found any monumental damage.

I'm glad to part ways with everything shown aside from the compressor. Head, block, pan, t-stat housing, water pump, flywheel, crank, random mounts, valve cover, side cover, etc. Prices are super reasonable, let me know what you need. Something feels terribly wrong about taking it all down to Pacific Recycling, let's avoid that!

All right, this thing is stripped down completely. The culprit was 1 or 2 completely roached crank bearings. Suckers were literally welded to the crank and connecting rods.

This is going to the recycling yard sometime around July 4th. Let me know if you need anything before then. Cheap... cheap... cheap.
