Paid Dusier online for a 1" 100 series body lift kit. Looks like I got ripped off.

Are their any fabricators on Mud I can pay to put together a body lift kit for me?

Looks like searching would have helped, many have experienced similar situations.

Most just fabricate their own body lifts using HDPE or UHMW plastic. There’s several DIY writeups on the forum.

Thanks DirtDawg-I was warned before placing the order, so I emailed them. Got a reply the next day they were in stock and would be shipped within 24 hours. Took a leap of faith, placed the order and got suckered...

Sorry for the mess.

Most any machine shop could turn a set of the 6 aluminum (6061 T6) or HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) blanks into the pucks you need. Call around to a few fabrication shops in your area and get a few bids. You can order any bolt in the world you could ever need at McMaster.com obviously you'd want a 8.8 grade metric or higher for this application. Really nothing to it.

Cool, think is you can make it any size you'd like at that point... custom is the way to go.

Why do you think you got ripped off? I just bough one from them took about a week to get in and now it is installed. I had no issues with them, but they did never send any shipping information.

Thanks Nicholas-I never got an order or ship email. Tried to call and email with no response. Maybe mine will show up soon. How long ago did you order?

I ordered mine about the second week of December so i guess i didn't just buy it but it wasn't t0o long ago. Yeah, honestly i thought i got dooped too for a few days and it just randomly showed up. I do stand corrected about the week, now that im thinking about it probably more like 10-14 days.

I ordered one from them on October 26. I got it Jan 10. So all hope isn't lost, but I did have to email once a week. They never sent a shipping number or any even a "hey, we shipped it" email.

Did anyone get instructions with theirs? I didn't and I'd love to see a set. Hoping to get my lift installed in the next couple weeks.

I did not get any instructions with mine but i have done body lifts before so it wasn't a big deal. i just looked up where the body mounts were online and went from there

Well after several emails and phone calls, Dustin actually called me up this afternoon. He said he was behind on returning phone calls, but he will ship the body lift kit out to me tomorrow via priority mail. Guess I will wait and see...

How is someone like that still in business? Or still have intact windows left in their business?

I would love it if a MUD member (@reevesci @LandCruiserPhil @benc ?) could put together a 1/2" UHMW lift kit that wouldn't require any steering shaft extensions, radiator relo brackets etc. Duiser has been sketchy for a long time and they only have the 1" kit. Just Differentials used to make a 12mm kit but it's NLA. Seems like there's a hole in the market for 100 owners looking for just a bit more clearance.

Talk with @spressomon he offered a 12mm at one time.

I would be interested in a 1/2” kit as well:)

IIRC you can do a 10mm BL without changing any bolts or a 12mm BL and change a few. Maybe a ~$15-20 kit difference, where would the interest be? Also BL owners have speculated that UHMW does compress slightly over time??? Should the spacers be made out of aluminum and not UHMW? @spressomon

10mm = .394"
12mm = .472"

IMO if you're going to run 35's on UZJ100 just go 1" or even 1.25" and be done with it. Radiator brackets need to be "stretched" and some rigs need the H/L t-case shifter to be adjusted. But rather than raise the front suspension for clearance, a body lift will preserve and pay dividends, in both the reliability & all things performance departments, in the all things CV and steering end angles.

The black UV resistant UHMW material I cut the pucks from for the 1" BL I've thoroughly tested (and used in the <then> kits I sold) are in perfect condition/shape without deformity.

Don't know why there is so much resistance for this much needed mod and BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK within the 100/470 crowd. Maybe less so today?

The only issue I have with them is that there is a visible gap for folks with steel bumpers and sliders. Other than that, I think they are definitely a budget friendly mod.
