Werrea, way to make a sharp rig look better. I like it. Looks like there is something wrong with your front bumper. You should sell it to me and get another. :D

I searched a lot before making a choice. Since the majority or ARB rack owners went with square ipf 868 lights due to rack mount limitations I am too going that route. I thought about make a bracket but didn't want to have them as tree limb catchers. And after speaking to arb they are nice lights with dual patterns.

I plan to inquire about one next week. Looks great!

How'd you get it to lay flat? Anyone use soapy water to wet set their vinyl? Any tricks?

I'm sure you could cut one of these yourself with a homemade template, tons of vinyl supply shops around.

Cool product though, probably easier just to order.

I placed on the hood. Cut the excess backing material to about 1/8" from the vinyl.

Cleaned the hood.

Positioned it where I thought it lined up the best. Used some painters tape to tape the back half down.

Mixed a solution of water and baby shampoo into a spray bottle. Sprayed the front half of the hood, and started peeling the vinyl off the backing spraying the backside as I went. Got about half way up, cut the backing off and placed the decal in place on the hood. I sprayed the hood and decal really well. Don't apply pressure yet. Following the same process as I did for the front half, peeled off the backing on the back half and sprayed the decal and hood surface really well. Don't apply pressure yet. At this point the decal is in place. Because the adhesive is pressure activated you have some wiggle room to slide the decal around. Stand back, look, look and look some more to make sure your happy with placement. If it needs adjusting, just slightly pull at the very edge. When you are happy with the placement, use a flat plastic, rubber, felt squeegee to work out the solution and air underneath. This is the process that will activate the adhesive and once your done working it all out, you are left with a smooth decal that is very well attached.

It's straight forward. As long as you work with a slick surface and position it where you like it's pretty easy. Just make sure if you use a plastic squeegee, that you are careful not to scratch the vinyl.

Very nice product!
Thanks for sharing...Bookmarked for later purchase.

Werrea: what kind of antennas is that on your ARB bumper?
