If matching the color and durability of powder coat is the goal then why not just have them powder coated black?
Lucky for me I like the chome nut/black wheel look.

:rolleyes::frown:************

I know I know. My rims get pretty scuffed up after about 3 months of wheeling. I'm not sure how well powder coating would do. I just don't want to plunge 400 bucks grind some paint off. I'd put that 400 in a snorkel or towards sliders.

I was quoted $350 to have mine done. Is this a fair deal? Second, are you planning on putting the center caps back on and if so what did you paint them with?

Black powder coat for my wheels were $125 a piece which seems about the going rate in the DC area.

thats about what i was quoted in dc. I passed. I am actually really starting to like my stock, silver lx wheels. It goes well with the black; kind of a reverse of nicks ride.

Not sure if the thread is the same as on a 80 but I just got some black OEM lug nuts for my stock 80 series wheels. Its the type with the washer. If I'm way off on this sorry for the post :)

Pfran - let us know if Onur has them for our trucks

Looks like the stud pitch changed in 98. Try asking Onur if they have 14x1.5 in black.

These are the 80 lugs
