Black stuff out of tail pipe

When I start my truck I get a Black stuff on the walls . Is it carb Setting or engine parts

Usually this is only seen at start-up. My wifes Ford does it on cold starts. Try backing off the choke adjustment. Less choke should help.

I will try that .I just put a weber on and started to see.It is coating the wall of my garage .

he he, i usualy only drive the cruiser on the weekends and its a dieing 350... I smoke out the whole negborhood when i start in on friday! lol

Mine did it.
Switched to 20w 50 oil and it quit. No joke.
