I wouldn't expect a Gamecock fan to be smart enough to feel comfortable with such a complicated piece of hardware in his hands anyway. Let the kids stick too it, I am sure they will program your TV remote for you as well.

i can't really use a tablet for my line of work since my line of work involves about 3%computer and 97% hand tools.
As for brains having anything to do with it...i type/misspell at about 75-90 wpm...i can't go on my insane rants nearly as quickly on an ipad. The touch screen just isn't speed type friendly.
For me...being that i can't use the ipad at work to keep up with important emails, stocks, bar graphs, pie charts and whatever else is important to people who wear dress shoes and ties to work.
So to me the ipad is a toy and nothing more, an expensive toy that is good for video games and is not very fun to type on.
The video games are not even all that great. If i had a choice to have the ipad or a ps3 i would have chosen the ps3.
the ipad won't even run anything adobe.
Back when i had netflix it was good having the ipad so i could let my son watch Diego and thomas while i watched Top Gear and Arrested Development.
But again...it was being used as a toy not as anything that made my life any easier or fun.
I can't remember how much they were, we got them the first xmas they were avaliable...which was last year IIRC
I would have rather spent the money on a week in sourthern florida.
