Will the radio hole in a BJ73 take a standard size stereo or does it need an adapter?

Well right now there is the goofy jdm am radio in the top half and a pocket/cubby in the bottom half. i dont do much in the way of car audio, so if i pull the stereo and leave the pocket does a new stereo drop right in or do i have to fab a mount of some kind??
You can also get plastic shelve that take up half the space sterio takes the other space

Cool, thanks guys. Yes, I've already got a little pocket/shelf in half the opening.
Now, what about those speaker spaces in the stock dash? They seem small, anyone know what fits? Hmm, it looks like the OEM speakers 86160-90k01 are still available... which makes me wonder - if I have the OEM AM radio, maybe I have the OEM speakers too. I should check, haha.

Sounds like the OP already has that...
for REAL easy installation then get the adapter plug for the stereo install...
i can have a radio installed in about 45 min /// if i feel like sweating...
i would like that, those bloody GPS have saved my ass more than once and it would be nice not to have to move it to and from each vehicle. how much?
