I saw your car when I went to pick up my 80 at INTI a over a month ago, people wouldnt believe it was a 73!

Didnt know the 73 had such a project coming for it!!

working on the front axle !!!!! make some gusset!! and a lot of welding! it ended at 7+ in caster! I think is just right .. the smaller tire going to be 36 ! normally it will be 38.5 ! what do you think about 7+ in caster? this weekend work in the instalation of the front axle and steering componet!

today work on the chasis take off the engine, engine supports,, shocks towers. ( need to design a tower fo king shocks). at the rear cut off part of the chassis to put the winch in! need to cut a little bit of the rear door.

also take off all the wire

when i inspected the rear frame for mounting a rear winch i was less than impressed with the spot welds on the rear cross member. i did a complete wrap around the frame which would mean the side frame would have to rip apart to have the winch come off ... then i still wasn't happy so i added reinforcement from that section to infront of the rear body mounts.

just a suggestion but your build looks like it will be a blast when completed.

yes you are sooo right ,,, the same thing happend to me... I reinforcement all the rear cross member! I dont like the original spot weld. looks soo weak!

yes!!!! something like a land rover defender 90 just protecting the front of the cabine.!!!

by the way, who knows what it the best canvas to fab my soft top looking for the best material but here in venezuela its a bad quality!!! need some help !

yesterday, take some time to work on the FZJ73 ... we cut some metal to fit the cage and cut off part of the front fender ! looks good to me, still trying to solve the cutting of inner fender. still am choosing the color of canvas, dont know yet the color of the metal

pocholin what is the gearbox the 4.5 uses H55f - H150 - H151 ????? I need to know what gearbox comes attached to the 4.5 engine, in the FZJ73
Necesito saber que caja de cambios viene con el motor 4.5 de las FZJ73.
