Another year has gone by... I can't believe it, I've literally entered a different phase of life while working on this project.
I am now married as of June.

Unfortunately not too much to report, but it is all progress nonetheless.

Last summer I wasted countless hours trying to rehab some doors that were missing the bottom body line--courtesy of a crafty PO and Canadian rust.

Here's what they looked like, for reference:

And after Countless hours of bodywork I got them this far:

I gave up on them and gave them to @WILLD420 for safekeeping. The folks over at Battle Born Cruisers of Northern Nevada do some serious wheeling. Hopefully someone will eventually make half doors or otherwise put those to good use!

Picked up some replacement doors from the man himself, Georg at valley hybrids. Here they are at the blasting guys house--they have since been sandblasted:

While I was Georg's place, I did some technical research on how the fenders are supposed to fit on the truck:

Lastly, I "converted" my fj60 replacement fenders to bj60 fenders--no more vent. I prefer the no-vent look, but they all look good ;)

And that more or less takes us to present.
I've got some door work to do, but I will hopefully be primering most panels by the weekend!

Bonus- here's the difference in bolt holes between a bj60 (red) and fj60(tan) inner driver fender.:

Haha.. over there you're deleting the holes for fender vents.. down under, I'm keen to cut some in mine!

Keep up the good work!
