I discover an open air traveling with my BJ43 Vinyl Top.
The most practical for me is using a bikini top )I made it from an old original top). Fresh air and safe even in the rain.

it is unfortunately a headache to store the “naked” car on the parking. Assemble the full soft top is not practical. The trail car cover is a solution.

Any walking foot machine … and alot of clean space … a sunbrella or top gun poly type marine canvas is light to fold into a nice pouch to hold it in

Btw use or have somebody use tenara thread… anything else will not hold up over the long term

Great to see the next J43 project!
Actually, the idea of the project is clear. I am sure that any local company that produces awnings for trucks from PVC can make such an awning on site. You need to bring them photos for understanding. It will be cheaper and more accurate in size.
I’ve contacted such a company in Europe, they did it quickly and accurately.
