Hello, would anybody have a working 24V starter for a 3B? Mine is clicking and when I bench tested the pinion is turning in both directions so I assume it's finished. Hopefully someone has one they would part with. I'm in Montreal Canada. Thanks

Usually the clicking issue is fixed by replacing the solenoid plunger and contacts. Cheap and easy, no real mechanical skills required.
The pinion should move in both directions. In one direction it will turn freely, in the other it will turn the starter motor. If this function does not work, you can buy a new clutch (also referred to, incorrectly, as a Bendix).
Neither the plunger nor clutch are electronic, so are not rare 24V specific parts AFAIK.
Don't replace the original starter with generic rubbish from eBay unless you are sure the original is beyond repair.
