everything i would like to do to my 74 accept i don't have the skills to do that yet ... :crybaby:.

Great project!

If you get a chance I'd love to see a pic of the battery box from below. I've been struggling with the location of my aux battery and that looks like a fine solution. Unfortunately my exhaust runs though there.

I can take pics tomorrow, but there´s not much to see. It´s just a box made of angle iron and sheet metal. My exhaust runs below the box right now, but i´m gonna route it somewhere else. That won´t be a problem.

One thing. If i write something stupid, let me know. English isn´t my mother language... But i´d like to learn it better.

I was just trying to visualize how close that box is to things like driveshafts, framerails etc. and how far down it drops. I'm sure I could figure it out by laying in the snow with a tape measure but it seems easier (for me) to ask you to take a photo. :)

Your English is fine. No worries there.

Looking forward to seeing the rig with paint on it.

Keep the pics coming! Nice 40 too!

great buildup! Will be a very stable and capable rig once its done

^^^ Very nice work, wow! Keep the updates coming please......

Painted it. Never painted a car before and guess what. Little bit orange... And i don´t mean the colour. I started painting with a little bit too thick paint. But it´s not that bad. Still have to paint the FRP top, hood and bead lock rings. Orange might be nice for the rings...?

Are you not worried about the muffler cooking the batteries

Yes i am, and thats why i´m going to do what i wrote earlier. And it is also hanging way too low. It would be ripped off at first rock or log.

Wasn´t happy with the painting, so today i sanded the truck and re painted it. Much better now, but still if i were a professional painter and made quality like this, i would commit a suicide... But now it is best that i could do when being a nurse...

That "green" will look (hayler) wickedly awesome driving in and through and out of the Finlandian terrain. an B+ on the progress!

dude cool now put some other shades of green and brown on it and make it invisible in the finish forest. :)

I don´t think so. Instead i am going to paint bead locks and some other stuff orange. So i won´t get it lost in the finish forest. :)

But thanks anyway!

Edit: today i took the FRP top into the garage and washed it. Going to paint it tomorrow. I hope urethane paint will hold on it.
Edit2: Here´s outdoor pic and left overs painted. Including rear summer doors.

No more boring, dirty, white FRP top. After the painting i started making the pressure air system. Viair 450 24V and about 6 litre tank. No pics yet.
