I know I've seen this before but I can't seem to find the right terms to search for so.....

Bought a Birfield from CV unlimited and it's too long for my 92. As I recall to use the newer Birfs you have to get the newer spindle. Anyone remember how I fit the newer (I'm assuming) birf in my elderly vehicle?

Bugger, tore it apart in about 30 minutes this time and it's going to sit over the weekend till I figure this out.

You need a late drive flange, 43422-60040 if memory serves. I am at home at the moment so I can't verify it. I do stock them.

The CVunlimited box quotes 43421-60040, one digit off from yours. Dang good memory. Either way I need to give you a call come Monday morning.

It would appear that the flange length is ~.300-.320" longer based on the measurements I took.

My memory is the longest thing I own............;)
