Hi all, my lj70 planning to 2" lift and wanted to use bilstein b8 for it. Is there any lj70 owner been using that or any compatible model can use in lj70?

hi Dprio34, thanks for reply. yes, i would like to know the part number. is you order it from ebay or amazon? if can i would like to know the seller too.I run them, I like them. But not for sale / readily available in N. America. I had to ship from Germany. Can’t speak about availability in Malaysia. I can post part numbers if you are really interested.

hi @Dprio34 , i have found those model but i wondering is it ok with 2" lift because from the specification is written use with stock spring. also the picture displayed is not the exact absorber because i checked mine and it supposed to be pin+eye on left and eye+eye on right. Here are the part numbers for the rear shocks and vendor. Note, there are there are two different style shocks in the rear for 1989 and prior LJ70s.

@Rocky Chai , Not sure what happened to the A pillar on these LJ70s, but I had rust in the exact same spot. Very strange since the rest of the vehicle is damn near rust free.
Will post front shock #s, when I get home from a trip.
@Rocky Chai I do not have a lift, but the Dobinson "stock" height springs I have get me where I need to go as far as clearance goes.
The Dobinsons, shouldl put you slightly higher from what you currently have, since your stock springs have most likely sagged.
Just to give you a ballpark idea, with 31.5” tires, the top of the wheel well will sit at 36” with these springs and tire combination.
Also regarding the 2” lift, if you decide to go that route, you most likely will not have a problem with damaging the stock height shocks with that mild lift, but only you can judge if it is worth taking the chance.
