Bike Rack on LC250, Proximity Alarm Disable (also will apply to bumper swingout) (5 Viewers)

Installed the 1up USA bike rack and turned off the "Auto Brake" function (below image of button with cone/star) to deactivate the Auto Braking. When reversing with the bike rack on, the backup camera display is still in "Code Red Mode" and the audible warning alarm is constant. Can we disable the audible warning alarm or both, i'm guessing this setting is buried in the instrument settings menu?

Same issue and configurations as you have.... I installed my bike rake on the dealer lot and 4 seconds into the drive had the auto brake kick on!

At least on the GX 550 :When reversing, on the screen when you have the backup view and all of the red alarms there is a mute button on the screen on the far lower left side...

Wow Bike rack straight from the dealer lot, that would have been a frustrating 1st day.

I’m going to try tonight but I read on a forum that we also have a mute button.

Also found the attach mentioned on another forum just now. Seems annoying but perhaps muscle memory will come into play
