Biggest tires on a 2010 4Runner?

You can fit a 285/70/17 on the stock TE with only minor rubbing. You'll likely get minor rubbing on the front fender liner and you can just move that forward an inch and be fine. The second place you might get some rubbing is on the little nub in the middle of the front mudflaps. You can either trim that down with a knife or remove the flaps. A 285 will fit perfectly in the rear. A 285 will clear the upper arms just fine on the stock rims and you can also fit a 285 in the spare location as well.

No pics handy, but I run 275/70/17 BFG A/T, and have had no rubbing at all. This is with light to moderate off road use, on my 2010 4R TE.

I think 275 is a s big as you can go without rubbing, of course all that is on stock wheels.
