Best way to trim fender flares...TJ that is?

Anybody have a suggestion on what to use to cut/trim fender flares from a tj that will be going on my tlc...

if they are plastic use a jig saw and a fine tooth blade

use whatever to cut them and then smooth the cut with a file lightly, then finish off with some sandpaper.

They are plastic and thought about heating up a knife to make it easier to cut. Sound ok?

I wonder if you could use a set of sharp tin-snips?

If you go with fine-tooth jig saw blade, make sure you're buying a non-kerfed blade. This will keep the cut narrow. Go with a slower speed so as not to burn/melt plastic.
