I'm meeting some guys from the Blue Forum over there. I think they want to meet around 9 am. The wife and I might camp the night before and after the ride over that tharways.

where is beasleys knob?

nevermind. How are the trails?

don''t think so. Not with my saggy springs

Id worry more about the sagging horse power. :D

those are by far the steepest trails Ive ever seen.
Scary steep when dry, just plain scary when wet.

Few places offer extended 4k rpm climbs you cant see over the hood!!!

The Dent will be fine as long as it runs well. I won't be going if it's wet. I've experienced Beasley in rain, sleet, and snow (all in the same afternoon). I won't be doing that again if I can help it.

i'll think about it. It did not miss a beat at black balsam however 2 or 3 times i scrubbed my a@# coming off the rocks on the rd.

You might drag ass a bit on the water bars but it'll be fine. There are supposedly some fairly newbies in FJCs coming so you can go easy, mod or hard. I'll stick to mod trails as I have to drive my junk home.

May try to join you for this one... rare weekend off.

If there's even a hint of dew, I'm out. That place is a blast when dry. Insane when wet.

I had a blast when I went at the GSMTR that wasn't. "09 I think. I was on 31 AT's, on the 62. It does have some steep climbs, but I love a good climb. It was pretty dry, but not dusty if I recall.
I would love to go back, but I'll be hiking to Shining Rock that weekend.

Count me in Steve! Can I meet ya somewhere to caravan?

Also I will be having some free time this month if you need any wrenching help.

Sweet!!!

The :princess: and I will be leaving from work Saturday in Seneca around 5:15 or so. Could you meet us there?

The biggest thing wrenching-wise I need to get done is install my rear Metal-tech bumper, but also have been thinking about wiring a switch for my fridge to the dash.
