Hey, I have some 18" BBS Forged TRD Pro wheels, and last night I tried to fit one onto my 2013 LX 570, and it didn't fit! I swear I've seen people fit those onto LXs, but maybe a spacer is required. Here's what I experienced:

I put it on really quickly and tightened (not full torque) 3 or so bolts to see how it looked. Then I wanted to remove the center cap to reinstall it spun a certain way once the wheel was on (my OCD lol). BUT...that darn wheel wouldn't come off until I really gave it the business and pulled and kicked it loose. So I grabbed the stock wheel and compared how nice and flat into place it very easily went, versus how the TRD Pro did, and the TRD Pro just wouldn't sit flush and settle into place. It was like it just barely didn't clear the ring - if the top was against the hub, the bottom couldn't be, etc.

Can anyone confirm this setup needs a spacer or something? I know I've seen some people use this wheel on LXs and LCs. It looks cool, but I probably don't want to mess with spacers, especially since I will run two sets seasonally and my stock wheels don't need spacers. I don't want to be also putting on and taking off spacers twice a year. I thought it was an easy fit.

@bpplaysguitar - So what happened here? Hub diameter seemed to be the issue but they should have fit.
It's strange, some people with LX570s have not had an issue (varying years), but it seems a couple have. I called Motorsport Tech to order a set of spacers and ask about this fitment issue, and the guy there said he knew what was happening, and the spacers would fix it: apparently the hubcentric lip on Lexus hubs is taller than on Toyota hubs, so some wheels from Tundras don't have enough material bored out from that area to let the lip fit in and the face of the wheel sit flush. He said their spacers will properly fit a Lexus, and all the lips on the spacers are all shorter like Toyota uses, so the Tundra wheels will fit just like on a Tundra. The spacers were ordered on 6/12 so they should be shipping any day now, and I'll update this thread. The interesting thing is, in the interim, I found some different TRD (non-Pro) wheels with good tread left and those went on perfectly, so some Tundra wheels must have more material removed from that area than others.

I just bought a set of these except they are Replika226. Heck of a lot cheaper.
I had to pound the old alloy wheels on the side with a block of wood to get them to fall off.
Corroded bad on the back. Am I the only one to notice this issue? Makes me want to
carry a 10 lb sledge just to change a wheel

Okay after getting the spacers and having the same issue, I discovered the fix was...sandpaper. Yeah, the TRD Pro wheels were just too dirty back there and I cleaned them up with some fine grit sandpaper. Bada-bing, done. Lol.
