Another option our battery hold down kit, much safer. It also relocates the fusible links to eliminate stress.

^^^ looks like a solid solution there @LandCruiserPhil - I personally had the 1”x8” board under mine when I still had a Optima (on Odyssey now).

The only thing I may add to the 80 that my Tundra has is these battery terminals:

I'd use a piece or 2 of composite (deck Board) before I used Treated Lumber.
