It's been a while since I posted, but I've been searching for something in the threads I found a few months ago and was wondering if anyone could help.
I found somewhere in a thread where someone had bought some cables off of a website. It was not specter or man-a-fre. They were billed as the last battery cable you would ever buy. They were sealed on the ends and supposedly cut to the proper length. Thanks for any help.

Why not just try almost any local auto parts shop - I'm sure at least one will have the capability of making custom cables, a large heat shrink at each connection and quality swagefit terminal connectors shouldn't be that hard to find. I live in a town of 400 and our parts stores makes up cables.

Go hit up a battery store or a welding store.

00 welding cable with the proper eye ends are VERY nice for battery cables. that is all I run on my rigs..

X2! (and winch cable leads)

I make my own and have for years. Have the crimper, and the shrink tube and the lugs....Red and Black covering on fine strand flexible 00 cable.

It is very nice having Waytek in your back yard....

Vince is a good guy and he makes excellant cables. He'll make exactly what you want, for a fair price.

Note: I just checked his site and found that he is layed-up for a month or so. If you can put it off until he heals, give him a try. I've never been disappointed with his product.

Also try marine places. You will likely notice a difference if you go to a nice large cable, say uh, 2/0. Anything larger than 2ga should do you fine. Crimp or solder or both, then seal with heat shrink.
