Found a 99 abused 100. Engine was burn up, owner put a 02 Engine with 135k miles in, did not finish the transplant. Been sitting for few years, got tired of it and decided to sell it, literally giving it away. My wife will consider it junk, but treasure to me. I will hate myself for it if I do not get it. Lots of rehab work needed. At least it can be my demo truck.

Oh man that looks like it’s going to need a lot of love. Good luck with the project and keep us updated.

For sure, not too bad. The interior just needs to be remove and clean up piece by piece. ;)

"literally giving it away" means you paid nothing for it?

like everything i guess it comes down to free time, budget, and intent.

If you have the time to work on it, the budget to replace A LOT of parts, and want a competent offroader then its a good find.

If you only have a long weekend, a small budget, and want it to be a daily then its a bad find

Well, not really but for $800, I can't pass it up.

hell of a project you got there, kudos for saving it from the goats! (those are real life goats in the first pic right?)

I like projects too.
2 questions:
1- whats the first few things you are going to do?
2- where you going to find parts?

For parts I am not worry, some of you may not know I carry Genuine Toyota and aftermarket parts for cruiser from 40-200 series. :)

This will not be a daily vehicle, my 80 is not daily as well. I have a 570 and sienna as daily. This will be perfect for test vehicle for new items photo prop such as headlamp, tail lamp, off road goodies, rear drawer, roof top tent etc. But will rebab it to excellent condition for sure.

Those are real goat indeed!! Glad they were not living inside the cruiser! Lol Hate to see any cruiser neglected that way! Driver window was left open for the last few years covered with plastic hence dirty interior. Brought a battery and hook up power, dash come to live and window row right up! How hard can that be!?Have all the parts in the truck, so will put it back together and test it out.

my wife would kill me but for $800 id be hard pressed not to purchase this lawn ornament

I showed her the pic at our driveway after the vehicle was dropped off. Missed my yoga session with her to get this truck, thank god she didn't seem mad!! Lol

What else is needed for the truck to run? Hope you get it up and running I love restoring vehicles. Btw I bought a pair of depos from you a month back or so, through eBay though because I had Ebay bucks to use. Loving them.

I have no idea what it is needed to run, gotta put the air intake hose back, install the coils, replace heater T, coolant, put a new battery in to start with. I know it is missing the engine cover for sure. Then follow by all the oil, fluid, hoses, belts, 90k service, tires, complete brake job, CV shafts, rear bumper, interior tear down for clean up. Follow by sound system and cosmetic issues. That is the initial plan for now.

Thanks for the support man! Have lots more goodies in about 1-2 weeks time, new shipment.
