Just got a weather report, any lingering showers are supposed to be gone by dawn tomorrow! We're expecting good weather. Have a safe drive and enjoy the cool temps. 68* expected.

I thought we all had free healthcare now. o_O. I hear you on gas I filled up today!:censor: Catch you next time.

Oh we have insurance, it's that bill that comes after the monthly premium that took the wind out of our sails. That and it seams every time I go down there I spend more than I sell. I guess I am a hoarder, I have 2 fj60's, 2 FZJ80's and 1 FJ40 in my back yard right now. I need a shop.

001.webp Had a great time. Got to meet a few new friends and see some new rigs . So glad that Kay Spector made it up, it was great to visit with her and tell her how much her family and business means to us and to wish her the best. Also Marlin is always a hoot to talk to. That guy is truly a walking encyclopedia! Glad that George and all that had a long ride were able to make it. Harold, your taco platter was the bomb! Thanks to you, your wife and kids for preparing a great meal. Thanks to all that attended and thank you Andy for putting together another successful rally/swap meet. Hope all had safe and uneventful drive home.

Sorry I missed you guys Dave. We found out 2 months ago that Kathy has cancer and I have been eating up my vacation days with chemo and doctor's visits. Cancer sucks.
I did get a chance to see the Tehachapi boys the weekend before. Hope everyone is well.

Pat

Pat so sorry to hear about your wife. Her and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers, that's for sure.

Yep, good time and thank you Andy. Great Carne Asada too. See you next year.

Thanks, John

Hi everyone. I had a great time at my first ever Land Cruiser event. Had a nice time meeting some of you today, I really wish I got there earlier though. I live out in the San Gabriel Valley area Pasadena, so it was definitely a nice drive. The rest of my cruiser group couldn't make it today, but everyone wants to come out sometime!

I'd love to meet more of you, especially if there are some local people. I learned quite a bit of information today about modding the cruiser. If someone could direct me as to where I should post to meet some locals around the San Gabriel valley i'd appreciate it! Hope to meet more of you guys! I'm definitely sticking around.

Eric

Great pics IDrive! You are now the un official, official photographer of our events!;) Glad you had a good time.

Definitely had a good time and got to meet and catch up with quite a few folks. @IDriveTooSlow, it was fun checking out your "poverty pack" '94 that's been in the family since new. You'd probably want to get in touch with the SoCal 80's group, though there's also Southern California Land Cruisers and LA County Trailcrew.

Haha, thanks. I actually like to take photos. I'll bring my actual camera next time, instead of using my oversized phone!

Thanks Donal! Your son was showing me around telling me about your 80, it's cool how he knows everything! There's some cool custom stuff on your car too that he was showing me around. Thanks for giving me some insight and modding ideas! The name "poverty pack" is hilarious! I guess I would have a semi poverty pack, because I have tint, 3rd row seats, and sliding rear windows?

I'll take a look at the Socal land cruisers and trailcrew, thanks! I was hoping for possibly closer to San Gabriel Valley area, but pretty i'm sure I'm not the only one that would drive a ways to hang out and go trailing. Thanks and see you around!

Thanks Andy for the once again, Great Landcruiser rally.
Georg, you the man! Thanks for bringing the diffs.
Lot's of nice rigs out there. Can't wait till next year.

While my fj60 didn't want to play I did attend, cool to see so many rigs in different forms.
DWitcher I didn't bail on you I went and bought a '14 4Runner!
