Fender flairs already off and in the trash.

Oh, I didn't know the Hundys had flares too. Welcome back John.

I think the flares were part of some regional trim package. You don't see them very often and they aren't as integrated as the 80-series flares are.

Yes, dealer installed.
After dealing with all the body holes from pulling the flares on my 80 I was relieved to discover that my biggest challenge here is the adhesive residue.

Two thumbs up Mr. Fish. Welcome back.

Juane -

Looks great - keep us posted as you start to modify! Even better, bring it down to NM and show it off in person.

congrats! I like the color too.

For removing adhesive gunk, I've had great luck with "Goo Gone." It's a liquid, and you just put a few drops on a rag or paper towel and give it some elbow grease.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. Let's git 'er done.

Progress report:
Gettin' 'er done! Prep, prep, prep. Ordering, check-writing, cleaning, POR-15ing, rebuilding and organizing boxes of parts in anticipation of getting my diffs back from J.T. Differentials and putting it all back together.
New U-Joints, new brakes, front wheel bearings, new ball joints, tie-rod ends, steering boots, snubbers.
This is by far the rustiest Cruiser I've owned - I believe it came from Golden, CO where they must salt the roads - but lucky with only a few busted bolts.
Had a nice weather window today, despite the dire warnings for the next big storm, and pulled the torsion bars to be replaced with ARB.

Getting anxious to get the thing on the road. Been on jack stands for six weeks already.
