Right on time! But the million dollar question is: How the f do you paint the inside? I was thinking just pour tremclad primer right down the body mount access holes and do the cha cha with it. ??? Any other thoughts ladies?

Good idea taping all the holes. I will do that. I have the body mount access caps. I might even seal them in?Once upon a time I got a “new” windshield frame for my 40. I had it sandblasted and thought the same thing “how to paint the inside so as never to have it rust out again?”.
Taped up every hole, bar one… the one I poured a half litre or so of “insert preferred rust preventative coating here” taped that hole shut and rolled the damn thing around until I was satisfied that I had everything inside thoroughly coated.
Pulled the tape off one hole and let drain over night (probably left it for days to cure).
I cannot stress the importance enough of securely plugging any openings/non sealed seams when using products like POR15 or similar.
YMMV…
Cheers

Yes for sure! Im a big fluid fill kinda guy.Probably part of your plans already, but after you've finished with paint some version of waxoil- fluid film, krown or whatever hosed into every orifice is a good idea too.
Probably be twice as many cruisers around if Toyota had done that from the start.![]()
Yes that's how I hot wired the wiper motor to see if that was the smoking gun, It wasn't. Motor worked so the smoking gun started shooting electrical gremlins. Or I fried it when I left it on for 2 mins with a seized wiper linkage gizmo? Not sure if this could be related and no experience with 24v rigs but the 12v rigs get the ground through the windshield frame so will run but not park in the park position with out a ground to the motor. Try running a temporary ground wire from the wiper motor to the battery if you haven't tried that already?

The panels are from real steel cruisers. Had I known there was a Canadian company selling them, I would have gone that way for sure eh!Wow,going all out. Those panels from 4wheel wholesale Edmonton? Kevin (Awl Tec) has been building these parts for a few years, very nice work.

There was another awesome cruiserhead from Calgary who bought it and after six months decided he...forum.ih8mud.com
Well its nice to score 900 liters of furnace oil for free at these fuel prices. When I'm unemployed, out comes the brewing equipment

Fortunately Columbia fuels sells everybody unmarked diesel so they can mark up the price and make more money, F-ing scammers. So everything I usually salvage is unmarked.Of course you’ll only use it for Off-road usesince no road tax was paid on it.
I’m still running my 40 on pre-COVID fuel… I’m almost afraid to find out what it will cost to fill the two tanks at today’s prices.![]()
