So who is definately IN this year for AZRocks?

Is anyone interested in camping one or both nights?

I am planning on getting out there early on Friday, maybe early enough to get on the first trail run, maybe not. I will be bringing my buddy Tim and his newly lifted (+ 4" & 33's) 86' 4runner for it's maiden voyage.
We are planning on staying both friday and saturday nights.

I will be bringing the post accident 4runner, as well as hopefully the Cruiser (C & T is under way).

I'm especially looking forward to the three gallons of light ale from Mr. Clark!

Baggins, are you gonna make it after all? (Jaden wants to know if Zoe is coming:D)

Man....i just realized I screwed up. I am taking my office to the Arizona Dental convention on thur and Fri. I can't believe I didn't figure this out until now. Are there going to be runs on Sunday? I would like to get the keg to someone that is heading out on Friday/Thursday so that it can be utilized.

No Trail sign ups are necessary,
we'll run with whoever shows

Trail Runs Start At 8:45am Each Day
Start lining up at 8:30am

If you're showing up the morning
of the run, just line up and we'll
have a liability waiver to be signed,
and a simple tech inspection.

T and I are going to head out after work on Friday. Unsure on camping Saturday night right now. Looking forward to home brew and some nice bourbon Friday night.

I'm out. Which sucks. I was really looking forward to this. But my wheeling days are over for the foreseeable future. .(
(The 1 eyed smiley is intentional.)

O-Kay?? What's it mean - you or the 80?

Robb, I can definately help you out with that....

Me. Bell's palsy. Can't blink my left eye (or move anything on the left side of my face) and need to protect it from getting anything in it or drying out. So I'm stuck wearing an eyepatch for a while. No depth perception, so I'm driving as little as possible. Plus it's hard to talk. I have to drink from a straw. Eating is also difficult.
I'm hoping I'm one of the 85% for whom this just goes away and not the 15% for whom it's permanent.

Damn, that sucks!:frown:

Damn John... bummer.

I'm picking up the trailer Thursday and might even drop it late Thursday night. If not it'll be early Friday then back to the house to get the 60.

I had planned to have the 40 out for the w/e along with the 60 but that didn't come together as planned. I'll be pretty much relegated to easy runs and probably some wildcat stuff too. Maybe lower Ajax, Upper Woodpecker most likely also will run Telegraph canyon at some point as the end is fun for the Kids. I'm camping Friday and Saturday nights. Will have the whole family in tow and a nice secure place for the beer Rob.

Eww, bummer, my daughter had this happen about a year ago for no apparent reason. She's fine now, took about 6 weeks, I believe she did some accupuncture that helped. I've got a call in to ask her.

I'm thinking about doing that too.
For now I'm taking a bunch of herbal inti-inflammatories and multivitamins.

I hope you are seeing a real doc as well. These thing often have an underlying cause. I went through it in 1994 due to a middle ear infection. It cleared up after about eight weeks on antibiotics. ~90% of the nerve function returned as the infection cleared. Hope your's does the same.

sorry to hear :frown:

former MIL got this at age 60something - stress-related - took a looong time to go away

at least she did not have to go to work during the worst phases (she was a highschool teacher and administrator)

I am sure you are already seeing a doc for it, but just in case, I can recommend Charles Adler at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, Department of Neurology

Wow, that sucks HJ60. Hope you feel better.

It looks like I will be able to make it as planned. The lady and I plan on leaving Yuma tomorrow morning and getting there late morning to mid-day. We plan on camping Friday night and possibly Saturday night.

Looking forward to running some trails with you guys!!!

Richard
