1993 fzj80 in great shape. 3x locked, cloth interior, 228kish miles, no rust! lots of maintenance done. I bought this truck stock, besides OME shocks, from the original owner. I added a very nice rear bumper with dual swingouts (spare tire and jerry can holders, custom roof rack, a new tepui kukenam 3 person rtt, 315/75/16 Cooper St Maxx with 6000 miles, 2.5" ome medium lift, 2 matching spare tires, hand throttle, CDL switch and lots of other good stuff. This truck is nice, the only issues are fading paint, rear hatch lock actuator doesn't work (tries, but doesn't throw the lock), the drivers and passengers side front door panel upper vinyl has sun damage, two small dents (one in passenger side door, the other below the rear slider and is very small) and there are a few chips in the windshield (none in the field of view). The dash is perfect under the pad.

Recent maintenance:
  • 1k ago - Locked axles from a 1995 cruiser swapped in w/factory ECU and switch. Knuckles/wheel bearings serviced and low mile birfs installed. Brakes replaced (power stop drilled/slotted rotors in front, stock in rear with power stop pads). Fresh dot 4 fluid flush and new extended rubber brake hoses. New toyota air filter, mobil synthetic gear oil in front diff, hatch and hood struts replaced, LED interior lights added.
  • 15k ago - Redline synthetic in rear diff
  • All wheel bearings replaced, both driveshafts rebuilt, new radius arm bushings and a new fuel pump 40k ago
  • New toyota radiator and hoses (phh included) in 2016
$11,000 cash in person. I am in Phoenix, AZ

Any current mechanical issues?

Nope! It runs and drives great. It will need an oil change in 1500 miles, all maintenance is up to date.

If it does not sell by the end of the month, i'm going to sell my tacoma and use this as a DD.

I notice your Tacoma in the background - if your wanting just a daily driver, curious as to why the 80 over the Tacoma?

Its complicated... lol

I want an 05-06 tundra extended cab 4x4 v8 non-stepside as a DD. I have 5 toyota 4x4's and cant justify a 6th, so something has to go. If people are too worried about the economy to buy toys right now, I would rather DD this one until @toyota guy buys it.

The underside is clean, but could be a lot cleaner if someone wanted to spend the time with a power washer or steam cleaner. The frame is all original paint, the axles have been rust-oleum'd several times (I have owned the axles for 7 years). The key indicator of salt exposure on these trucks (IMO) is the conditions of the rear heater lines - these are perfect. Also, keep in mind I live in the desert on a very dusty dirt road, everything here is filthy all of the time.

Also of importance, I had a friend run a carfax on the truck today and according to them I am technically the 4th owner. The person I bought it from was a DR at a local hospital and did say he had the truck in new mexico for a few years while he was working there, which it looks like he had to title the truck in NM for emissions, then again back here in 03. According to carfax, each title transfer counts as a new owner. I have no reason to doubt he was the original owner, but unfortunately I cannot get ahold of him to confirm. My friend works at a dealer and runs several carfax per day, he says things like this are very common.

Also, the registration is up at the end of this month. If someone in Maricopa county buys it, I will run it through emissions before hand.

I will be taking the ad down in 5 days, contact me now if you are interested.

Correct, tent included. Anyone interested can pm me their # and I can send the Carfax.
