How far out does the bumper stick out by the 3rd brakelight (Top) Trying to see if it'd interfere with the JAOS wing.
I assume you meant to ask how far the ladder sticks out, not the bumper. I'm also assuming this is the JAOS wing you're referring to?

I don't have a dimension handy, though if I remember correctly, the LX they did the testing on worked with the factory spoiler. It really depends on how much clearance there is between the spoiler and the rear hatch. I would contact AXE to get a dimension.

fyi. they're not taking order for the ladder at the moment. :(

Spoke to the owner. The shop is moving so they can't take any orders on items that have to be fabricated at the moment.
Good to know. Gonna order one once the move it complete.

i just ordered mine, they seem to be taking orders again. ive been checking on them semi monthly to order... dont want to wait 6 months for a Gobi.
Did you get any updates yet? I also ordered mine 4 weeks ago, I emailed them for an ETA, no reply. Anyone got a contact #?

Yeh my order number is 33. Hopefully they don't cancel. I really need the ladder.

I feel like a ladder would be simple enough for a local fabricator to make, especially if theres a group of guys ready ro put down $$ for one.

busy number. well this is disconcerting, the fb page is full of complaints about orders not fulfilled.

i think OP should be modified to possible "fraud or buyer beware"

I'm sorry to hear that things don't seem to be going well with AXE's customer service. I've sent Brad an email letting him know there's some dissatisfied customers here on the forum and asked for an update/explanation. My last communication with him was in June when he told me he was no longer taking orders for fabrication, but apparently that changed at some point.

I have nothing to gain from this and simply wanted to pass on an option, but if people start to get shafted and the seller is nowhere to be found, I'll gladly update the OP to reflect that.

nothing against you OP, just wanted to let anyone else ordering know that we have no response on our orders.

As ladders go I like that the Gamiviti does not touch any body work so won't cause any paint/rust problems later and Gamiviti is always so nice to work with.

I'm not crazy about the hatch mount designs that touch the paint or have the full load placed on the hatch and it's hinges, bumper and rack mount is the way to go for me.

It seems like they're still active on the gram. The last post was few days ago. I DM them, hopefully I get a response. I'm going to wait several more days before I open a claim with PayPal.

I quoted the axe owner's post on the Alabama Overland fbook page and asked about their status. I'll update if he or someone who knows whats up responds.

I agree with you on the downsides of the hatch mount ladder, although I've not experienced any issues with mine. The biggest drawback of the Gamiviti and other side mounted ladders is that they add width to the vehicle and are a serious snag point if you have narrow, wooded trails like I do in the Northeast. Using them for storage is also difficult when hanging off the side. I bet it's a great option for those in the desert who have wide open trails, though.
