I have a non nav '06 and can not for the life of me figure out how to reset the avg mpg in the display. All other values reset with the reset button but the only way I've been able to zero it is disconnecting the battery. My owner's manual is in Spanish so I haven't had any luck with that either.
Any body have some insight?

Perfect thanks

The only way is to fill the tank. When the cpu registers an increase in the tank contents, it will zero the avg calculation. Silly system. Mod wanted.

I was wondering about that. But I just filled the tank and no reset. Hmmm

Your right. It was reset when I started it this morning. Thanks

Maybe its like a rolling average like on my ES300 which you can't reset? Pretty much a throttle position/load sensor. My 98 LC doesn't have one, it isn't that fancy LOL

hey eveyone. i have non navi display like the OP. and i have 2 options 1st one is AVG mpg and 2nd one is just mpg without the word AVG. if im on Odometer A or B should i choose avg mpg or non avg mpg???

AVG stands for average, meaning average since last filling of the tank (even if you fill only a little). Without the avg it shows mpg at the moment, measured over only a second or two.
Odo display has no connection with the mpg display.

Btw, "Asia" is a rather large area. Are you all over the place, or would you rather not tell? All the nice places on this earth are in Asia, right?
