‘98 window pinch sensor reset? (1 Viewer)

I have searched and searched to no avail - my drivers window (98 LC) hits the pinch sensor when it gets to the top, and then goes back to the middle. None of the factory reset instructions fix the problem. Is there a different procedure that I’m not coming up with in search, or maybe something mechanical I’m not aware of?

My drivers window had been replaced prior to my ownership, and after fixing one of the rear windows last weekend I’m extra frustrated not being able to figure this one out!

Following along as well because I'm in the same boat. My passenger rear does the same thing and it's annoying.

Super useful - thanks! I will see if I can get to this over the weekend between the expected rain. Sucks to have to tear the door apart, but would be one step closer to fully sorted after having done a bunch of other work over the last year!

I had this problem and searched and searched for a solution. Finally I found this YouTube video. I was a bit skeptical but it totally worked. Best of luck!
