I thought I would share my mpg with the collective

2006 lx 470 stock 280k.
Driver and about 100 lbs of gear.

16.7 mpg average speed 70 mph for 1500 miles and 90 gallons of premium unlead

I Was driving slower than speed limit in certain parts of Texas 80mph speed limit, and slower then regular traffic
Tried to keep it around 75mph whole trip

I was getting roughly 16.9 mpg from Orlando to Richmond keeping it around 70 mph. I noticed the engine noise ramps up around 2500 rpm or 75 mph so I tried to keep it below that. This is a good reminder that I need to start tracking my mpg again.

Rolling inertia plays a significant role in your MPG, AT and MT tires will yield lower MPGs on top that if they are oversized like 32” and bigger. I had the same MPG on my 06 when everything was still stock including HT tire and size.

I got a calculated 18.7 on a tank of 89 octane. Michelin Defender LTX 275/70/16. Stock ‘00 LX. 365k. Kept it 75ish

I just got 14.6 mpg on a 100m round trip with roof rack, 34s, and drawers. Regular.
