I am running a aux fuse block for some power to the back of the rig and some dvd headrests to keep the kids quiet. I put the fuse block under the passenger seat, like this
http://www.sleeoffroad.com/technical...or_fusebox.htm

I have power run through the firewall on the passenger side and I am running a relay so the fuse block is switched with the ignition. Which wire off of the back seat heat do I use to trip the relay?
Found this on another thread and just wanted to verify it was the same for an LX450.

If I recall correctly I had a white wire with a black tracer that went to the fan. I will have to get under there to remember correctly.
Also as a secondary question is the bolt that holds the fan assembly on a good place to ground all of this?

Unless you have an EWD, I would just use a volt meter and connect it to a wire that shows voltage when the key is switched "on" (or "acc", whatever your choice is), and no voltage when off. Doesn't really matter what circuit you use as it just trips the relay. An EWD would be helpful though. I'll see if I can find any useful info in mine.

I would double check with a voltmeter, but here is the EWD info for a 96 LX450:
rear heater.webp
rear heater 2.webp
rear heater 3.webp

I don't have any switched points on my aux fuse block so I can't help you there but for the ground, I used the one found under the console. That is the "official" ground point in the area but in a LX it is much more of a pain to get to. I used it because I grounded my aux fuse block there and can run my grounds to the fuse block (known good ground) as needed rather than searching for something that will work. Just depends on what is easier on a case by case basis.

If you are interested here is my write up that shows the ground point:
