Aux Fuel Tank for an HZJ77

I'd actually seen that video searching around on you tube. Those boys are givin er hell. I doubt I'll drag the tank it just looks funny sticking down that far.

One more question...do you happen to the know the dimensions of the stock radiator on the 79 series?

so what's the deal with the long range tank here? Is it only because of the nifty little compartment in the back of the 77 that the 76 series one won't fit? If so I'll cut mine out and weld in some sheet because as soon as a drawer system goes in I won't have access to the compartment anyways.

yeah i was thinking the same thing.
I don't know when that will happen though as I want a few other mods that go in place of a long range fuel tank. Turbo and intercooler being the big ticket one. When I need to redo the tcase I will do some marks gears as well.

I'd be cutting the little compartment straight out if I were in need of the long range tank. Might have to get longer tank straps

That was my thinking. But it turns out I may be planning a trip to drive to South America in two summers from now so outfitting my vehicle is a large priority and a long range tank will be needed.

i don't think so. Though I think the box only takes up the dead space left on other 70 series cruisers. the thing isn't that big. I would way rather have a long range tank.

I have thought the same thing. I have other mods that come far ahead of the long range tank
Would be cool down the road

I too was planning that route until I stumbled upon the long ranger. Making a tank can be very costly so depending on the price of the long ranger it could be an easier route to go for me.
