I just got my LC J100 not too long ago and recently noticed the Aux fan not running even if I had the AC on and engine running for awhile. I directly tested the fan to the battery and it works. Can anyone help me on how to trouble shoot it. where else to look at? Thank you

If both the front and rear controls appear to be working, then I'd suspect a relay or blower controller. The wiring diagram should help you to figure out what components are in your system and where to check for voltage drops. Here is a copy of the EWD: http://dustbird.com/ih8mud/FSM/EWD.pdf

Get a can of electrical contact cleaner and make sure all the connections are good. With a voltmeter, you should be able to trace where the voltage is dropping off.

Thank for your quick reply, I will look into this.

is there an ac fan "RELAY" for 1999 100series and where is it located? I have tested connectors and fan and both are fine. Thank you

I think the part your looking for is a resistor, not a relay. On mine, which is only rear heat, the resistor is just upstream of the fan. It controls the variable speed of the fan, so if you follow the wires plugged into fan, it should be first thing you hit. I'd check the harness going into the resistor to make sure it's getting power.

.
Ok, will do, thank you

Resistor is #10 in the image below:

It looks like it bolts into the top or side.
