I live in Austin, TX but willing to drive or fly if it is the right truck. I am looking for a rust-free accident-free Toyota variant 100 series 2000-2007 model year under 160k miles on the clock. Budget mid 20's maybe more if it's super clean and low miles. If it’s a 2000-2002 definitely no nav as that’s one of the big reasons for looking at those year ranges. I know it is looking for a needle in a haystack but if you got anything let me know!

DM you. I've got a 2005 lx470 I'm thinking of selling.

Not sure if you are interested in a vehicle with some camping modifications, but I have a 2000 LC, black, with about 109k miles. Located in Marin County, California. Life-long California vehicle, only very minor surface rust down below. I bought it with 104k miles, I think about 4 years ago, as a trade-in from an Audi dealership. I have a CarFax from that time.

Cosmetically, some bird poop stains in the paint, seats are not torn up, but show some age. Probably what you'd expect from the mileage, much better than what you'd expect from the age.

Modifications:
- Slee front bumper
- Top model Warn front winch with wireless remote
- Slee sliders
- Gamiviti rack, with panels and various cross bars and mounts
- All new speakers, 10" touchscreen CarPlay JVC head unit, new subwoofer (under passenger seat)
- Air Down Gear Up sleeper drawers
- Kaon (Australian) cargo barrier and attic shelf (Highly recommend these by the way! Worth it, even with shipping).
- Ram mount for phone
- AGM battery ~3 years old (I have a replacement fuse to make the alternator current voltage correct for the AGM which I haven't installed yet. I keep it hooked up to a Noco trickle charger because I drive it so rarely).
- Newish (5k miles?) Falken Wildpeaks (all 5)
- One of those storage things for the rear hatch
- Heater tees recently done, timing belt done at 95k, doesn't need anything as far as I know

The bad:

- I have Cascadia solar on the hood but I believe the panel has gone bad. It could be replaced, which is what I plan to do, but if you yank it off and don't replace it, the hood will probably look bad from the adhesive.
- Antenna is somewhat bent and doesn't go down all the way.
- Windows are slow. Sunroof is slow.
- Door actuators don't work if it's above 90 degrees (you can still open the door with the key). I have new ones but haven't installed yet.
- Mesh on seat back storage is stretched out. Have fancy new storage things but haven't installed yet.
- Carpet is just fair... we camp with it a few times a year and I honestly don't really clean it. Mechanically as far as I am aware it's perfect and perfectly maintained, cosmetically it's good for the age, but not a showpiece.
- I've done nothing to the suspension and I don't think there's anything in the CarFax about it. I feel like it drives great on- or off-road, but from what I've read, with the age, and the extra weight of the rack and winch and bumper and drawers, it should have suspension stuff done.

I love it and we camp with it somewhat regularly, but clearly I don't really use it much. Have been thinking about possibly selling it and getting an FJ60, the truck I grew up with. Send me a DM if this is of interest.

I live in Austin, TX but willing to drive or fly if it is the right truck. I am looking for a rust-free accident-free Toyota variant 100 series 2000-2007 model year under 175k miles on the clock. If it is a 2000-2002 variant with the 4-speed no built-in nav, one of the reasons I am considering the older style. Budget upper 20's maybe more if it's super clean and low miles. I know it is looking for a needle in a haystack but if you got anything let me know!
I have a 2004 100 series I am going to be putting up for sale. It has a few more miles (209,000) than what you put in your parameters, but the truck is in very good condition, has always had all service/maintenance done. I wouldn't hesitate to drive her anywhere. Recent timing belt and water pump, tires in great condition with plenty of tread. A few offroad mods (ARB front bumper, with Warn winch, BIO sliders and a 1" lift). I have service records and can give you lots more details if you decide you're interested.

I’d like some details on this as well

Still on the hunt currently leaning towards a 2000-2002 with no nav. I drove a 2001 the other day and then a 2007 and didn't notice much difference on power delivery or rpm's. What do y'all think?

I really think an ‘07 is the way to go!!! I just so happen to have an ‘07 natural white/tan interior with around 156k miles, factory AHC delete, dealer maintained just up the road from you in Oklahoma.

Hello wbates,

Not sure if you are still looking for a 2006/2007 LC, but I just listed my beloved 2006 LC (225,500 miles) for sale on Craigslist and AutoTrader. We are building a house and I need a Tundra to haul construction material. My Cruiser just won't do it for this task so I'm selling her to acquire a Tundra. Here are the links to my Craigslist and Autotrader Postings. Reach out to me if you have any questions. Clean CarFax and Clean Title. Thanks! Premo.

This was interesting to wake up to given we had been discussing selling my rig to you since the end of March and Tuesday of this week you greenlighted me finding a replacement rig after a ton of phone calls/video walk arounds/etc. Glad I dodged that bullet. Enjoy the steal in Oregon 😜.

Not sure why you think you dodged a bullet. I hadn’t heard back from them for 3 weeks so had given up on it and was genuinely planning a flight to MS to get yours. Of course as timing would have it they reached out yesterday. No intention to lead you on at all.

Easy. When I say I’m going to do something I do it. Which is why i communicated to you yesterday at 1:16pm I found a replacement rig and set up a prepurchase inspection. Crickets. This morning, hey moving forward with scheduling pre purchase inspection just wanted to touch base- crickets. Get a notification from this thread and check it out. Call you- you don’t pick up the phone. It’s fine, there’s just a right and wrong way to go about things and the way you handled it was chicken****.✌️

Fair enough, no ill will intended. Good luck to you.
