Looking to sell my 2007 Land Cruiser with 136k miles. I am the second owner and have all maintenance records from the original owner as well as original window sticker etc.

Aftermarket parts are a Grom VLINE (works fine)
Nomad wheels with KO2 tires, tires have less than 10k on them.
ASAP Flaps (taken off in the pictures)

It is 100% South Florida owned and rust free I have done quite a bit of baseline/maintence on it, if there is anything specific you would like to know about just ask. Going to attach some picutres I took this morning (little dirty was planning on detailing it this Sunday).

CarFax reports a minor incident a few years ago which I believe was a dented front fender but all body panels and glass have VIN stickers/etching.

It’s seems like a scam when the price is removed and sellers not responding! Crazy people defend this…
The guy has been here for almost 2 years, has an appreciable post history and was dissuaded from continuing his for sale posts by other members. None of that adds up to scam in my book but you do you. Bigger picture here is something else entirely in my opinion

Exactly, 2 year member means he is an enthusiast of some caliber so knowing your vehicles worth would not be far fetched! Then not responding to the inquiries? Not to appreciable in my book! Bigger picture, it’s not kosher to handle your mistake of under pricing your vehicle by ghosting your post!

He did indicate he was shutting the thread down did he not?
Have a beer and relax, finding drama in meaningless things like this is no way to go through life.

“No drama here, pal” says the guy who’s throwing exclamations in every response, is the first to assume it’s a scam and assumes anyone with an alternative explanation is crazy. What an a******,

Explanation? If you’re not the seller why would you have an explanation? Seller ghosted a thread he started in an effort to sale his vehicle. I guess, stop making explanations on behalf of someone else. What an a******.

You don’t seem to understand the seller already explained themselves. Not only that, it’s been explained that they explained themselves. Reading comprehension is an important skill.

On another note, it does suck when a seller puts up a good price and then is inundated by people who want to snatch it up or tell them they’re doing something wrong and they should raise their price so that they can inflate the market or not lose money on their own vehicle. That and the flippers that know they’re gonna make a profit so they offer 5000 more dollars than the guy who just wants it for themselves.. What makes a good seller in my opinion is working with the first person that contacts you with the money and is willing to make a deposit at the listed price on a handshake deal. We also have to deal with all the people that are butt hurt because they weren’t first to contact. The last low mileage near mint vehicle I sold two months ago was sold in under 24 hours with over 50 contacts. Hopefully that’s what happened in this case. Some sellers base their price off of what they received the asset for and others base their price off of current market speculation. Either is OK but people that buy at sky high prices never want to sell (or see others sell) when the reality is It’s a lower current market price.

I don't think it's a scam, he just realized he underpriced his vehicle so is going back to re-evaluate his cruiser. IMO this is worth $25K +

Just read the thread from start to finish and you come across as a drama queen and I ain't the only one who thinks so, that's for damn sure.

Jeez… didn’t expect this response. But yes I had it listed at 20k received way more traffic and messages than I anticipated. I commented that I am closing the thread for now and removed the price from the listing, will probably hold onto the vehicle for now.

As for “scamming” I spoke to multiple members on the phone as well as sent full walk around videos pointing out any little thing on the vehicle, full start up idle etc.

A member reached out within minutes of the thread going up, sent videos and spoke on the phone with them. They offered to come out the next day at the agreed upon price in the thread. I was fully willing to sell to them at that the price listed even though multiple people at that point had told me I was below market. Member ended up not being able to make it the next day which is when I decided to reevaluate my listing.

Legit seller. I spoke to him and honest. My mom wanted it in florida just a lil far from her needs.

I recieved 50+ messages and responded to a lot of them. I posted in the thread I was closing it for the time being.

Apologies if the "listing was not kosher" in your opinion, I am not a "regular" private sale buyer/seller nor do I constantly watch the Land Cruiser market I simply like the vehicles and browse the forum. As for "handling my mistake" I gave the first member who reached out dibs on the vehicle and the option to come get it at the listed price the next day, the member ended up not being able to make it which is when I closed this.

Yep, I get it. You sound like a good seller that was willing to go through if the other party could’ve made it happen. Enjoy the vehicle.

entertaining thread!

I sure wish I had 50+ hits on my ($16k) ad for a J100 that has *slightly* higher miles than this one but is at least as desirable and in tip-top shape!
Yours looks super clean but I wouldn't call a 98-02 as desirable as a 06-07. Vvti vs non, 5 speed auto vs 4, and then updated interior. They also made like 10x as many 98-02s.
