Slowly but surely getting things ready. Put the awning on the truck yesterday, just got to try and get everything for Morris ready now. I'm way to used to camping solo.

Nice work Steve. I know what you mean. I got the CB installed Saturday and started the mounting for the ARB compressor. Finished it up Sunday. Lost track of how many shirts I went through and Think I lost 4-5 pounds in sweat alone.
 
Looking real good Steve! So we'll have 2 Tacoma's with ARB awnings on this Hurricane Creek trip. Are you bringing a tent too or just sleeping in the camper shell?

I will be sleeping in the camper shell. I made Morris a platform that goes across the camper shell and I'll be sleeping length wise. I'll try and post a picture of the setup. Looking forward to seeing your Tacoma again!

Only been home long enough to unload the truck, shower and heading to get something to eat. Weather coming home was pretty bad. Will hopefully do some sharing tonight
 
Man what a blast!! I can't thank everyone enough for making this fantastic trip. @GarnerFJ40 you and Heather have made so many trips enjoyable over the years for me and I can't thank you enough for it. Also a big thanks to @77 KROOZER and Marie for being so kind and helpful to all the kids and especially mine. Also @erymer and Stacy for all their help. Everything about this trip was enjoyable and I can't wait to make it again soon. Here's some pics

Steve (aka Stephan), Marie and I both had a blast with both of you.great pic of you two on Max Patch. The picture of Morris and Eleanor in the troop is adorable! Hope you guys can make it on the 20th.

Had gear in the truck and never wet a line, dang near killed me. Trying to keep the 3 year old wrangled in just made it to difficult to try to get some time in for fishing. I really wanted to fish the French Broad some but it was just a muddy mess. You and I need to schedule up a fishing trip sometime sir!
 
Man, the situation doesn't look so bad in the winching picture! Just goes to prove that you can never let your guard down when driving trails regardless of how easy they are! Getting distracted for one second can put yourself into a precarious position!

Thanks to the group for the time and effort that went into the 2 point extraction, and for Greg verifying that I DID rebuild his old winch properly!
