Ok,
Who has experience with running a Auburn LSD (Limited Slip differential) in either the front or rear of their FJ60 or 62?
Good....bad... what's your opinion? I'm not a hardcore rock crusher and I suspect as long as I own the truck I will not be "hitting the rocks".
I will be using the truck off-road on trails, logging roads, forest roads, mud, snow when and if I encouter it. Don't see much snow in AL.
It appears to me that the Auburn units are the only limited slip differential avaliable for the FJ60.
I have a powertraxx locker in the rear and it works fine. I'm interesting in installing a Auburn LSD in the front axle. (at the present its just an open differential). I might consider removing the rear locker too and installing an Auburn there too. The locking and unlocking of the locker is gettling a little old. Maybe I'm not "hard core" but anyone care to share their experience with and Auburn LSD in the front axle or rear axle or even both?
Thanks..
