Attempting the next best engine swap for 80s IMO (8 Viewers)

For those of you that lack reading and comprehension skills.
I never said this swap wouldn’t work for LHD vehicle what I said was the setup doesn’t look like it’ll work meaning the inner cooler and piping.

Not laid out the way it is, no. It's a matter of engine bay Tetris. I think we're all just thinking out loud. Most of the real Toyota purist naysayers dropped out a few pages back.

But I have a dead one and this swap is very appealing to me.

Don't forget the 1HD-FTE is still a turd unless its fixed up. It only takes 20,000 plus labor at a certain shop to make it worth it.

Back on topic. I think this will be a desirable swap in the future. Especially if theres more aftermarket support added.
