Very nice original Fj62 with 186k miles. Excellent running, has some rust behind rear wheels, a small amount of damage on front passenger side fender, repaint on hood, the rest of the body is original paint, faded on roof from sun, the rest of the body is decent and still shiney. Driver seat is torn ad has seat cover, other seats are original and in decent shape, new dash cap, instruments are in good shape, rear carpet is bad and needs replaced, front is fair. all glas is good except windshield, it has cracks and needs replaced. Has original tool bag, original stock chrome wheels in very good condition. Transmission shift well, 4 wheel drive works as it should, I have kept it as original as possible with parts availability. I use to drive it daily, but have recently purchased a newer 4runner so it sits more than it use to , I start and drive it every couple of weeks. It lives in the garage most of the time, I will continue to upgrade parts and repair small issues until it sells. If you are interested you can message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I will consider fair offers, not really looking to trade. Thank you.

With a vehicle this old, and can very in price for lots of reasons, I would like to talk to potential buyers and come agreement about price that will make us both happy. Ask questions, make an offer. If you contact me via this ad, I can give you my phone number and we can discuss the vehicle. Is that so hard? No games.

You posted this in January for $20,000.

I love local and saw the original post here and on Marketplace and Craigslist I believe. The market has kind of spoken on the value and price. With the condition and pictures flaws, it’s probably worth around $6k-$7k, based on 60 series cruisers I have personally purchased as well as others I have looked at. Probably not what you want to hear, but there is a reason it is still for sale along with others in similar condition. Not saying it is a turd. Just saying it isn’t a gem and doesn’t sit in that mid to high tier price range with the condition. Body and paint is not cheap to do and adds up quickly.

I don’t believe this vehicle is worth $20,000, but it’s certainly not a $7,000 vehicle either. If you’ve seen similar vehicles in the$6-$7k price range, please share the links.
Based on the limited information and photos provided, I’d estimate its value at $10,000–$15,000. However, my opinion isn’t the point. The issue is the seller’s approach—failing to list a price and expecting potential buyers to waste time contacting him for it. Posting a clear price allows people to decide if it’s worth their effort. With only four posts in 12 years, it’s clear the original poster isn’t familiar with how IH8MUD listings typically work.

yes I did, ive since revised. If you don’t like it, or think it’s a POS. That’s you opinion. No need to insult someone’s post. I’ve found this forum to be very judgmental and hostile. I’ve owned 11 Toyota 4x4s and the Toyota community used to be very helpful and friendly.

Ok, you haven’t even seen or driven it. If you can find me one for what you are saying this is worth and it isn’t a 300k mile rust bucket please let me know. I’ll buy it.

I’d keep it if it’s worth that to you! I have a few 73,76-40’s, (2) 88-62’s, 95-80, 05-hundy, 14-200, 2025-250 premium pkg. I don’t purchase to restore and sell!! 🤷‍♂️ I just like em. NONE of them are worth what it would take to purchase from me. At 53yr old I’ve realized I’ve had a sickness since college with these machines. Only regrets is trading my 1975-fj55 20yr ago for another 40…I ended up selling that one.

It takes a lot of love, time, knowledge or money( 🤮 😡 ) and understanding family members (WIFE/partner) to own any of these beast (any model). Just drive it. Don’t let it sit idle without doing anything because it will take a special buyer the longer you wait.

I live about 50min or so from you…just across state line in SC. Friends have a farm in Winder and family in Alpharetta. PM me if you’re super serious about letting her go. I’m in Colorado from 26th-30th (WSMFP) if you know you know!!
