This grinds my gears, can you guess why?

Flag is backwards. (Technically upside down)

The email was from the marketing department, I’m wondering if they (marketing) are Australian based and don’t know?

I’ve seen this enough here in the US over the years and it’s almost always plain ol’ ignorance.

It is one thing for it to be hanging wrong in someone’s barber shop on accident and a complete other thing for it to be a part of a Veterans Day ad.

Like I said, it grinds my gears.

I thought they were down under not backwards ;) On the other hand its nice to see the flag not being burned or trampled. I remember back in the day people hated flag shirts and dresses let alone bandana's.

If you can read this, thank a teacher, since you are reading this in english - thank a vet!

Second that Motion….

I hang a flag at Rubithon however I am always nervous that I have it wrong in some way & will offend someone. I will not wash my flag and I think it bothers some that it shows it's years. My point is that some of us are sensitive to this and try to do it right, Cheers to our Veterans on this day.
X2 on op's feelings about what appears to be carelessness with a mass communication.

I learned flag etiquette through a few different sources: being born on the 4th of July, from my immigrant grandfather who adored his adopted country and a fairly dumb channel, making certain it was correct when being used in advertising.

In my mind, if you’re going to fly or display the flag at least do it with with respect for the rules and absolutely with respect to those that gave the greatest sacrifice.

A humble thank you to all that served, your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Same not same. I am on the phone the other day looking out a 5th floor window and the security guard is raising the flag. Next thing I see is it sitting on the ground while she tries to get the hoist squared away. About lost my mind 🤯

Very disturbing when I see flags displayed incorrectly. Such a simple thing really

I would’ve had to say something, lack of respect through ignorance is not excusable.
Even the elementary students at my daughters school know the flag etiquette.

Don’t get me started on Made In China flags, that should really be a law.

I normally would have but this is a clients building that I am working in so have to tread lightly.

OK, yeah the whole made in China flag thing sets me off somewhat as well. I do agree about the "law" thing. Get this headline: US bands all not made in USA flags. Classic!!!
