I only have 1 battery so I use a Jackery 160 to keep it powered overnight. I can’t comment on dual battery but I can tell you that it uses around 6-7 watts when idling, and 60 watts when on full blast. It does not stay at full blast for long before it gets to set temp and go back to idle/6w. Even on full blast it’s pretty quiet, but this is my first portable fridge so I have nothing to compare it to (except Coleman electric cooler that was 60w full time and never got “cold”).

How much battery is left on that Jackery after a single night? I've been thinking of going that route in one of the vehicles and dual battery in the other, but may go that route for both.

It seems like he is a one man show trying to run an operation that is out of his league.

Sure, he says 5 year warranty, but will he be around in 5 years? He can’t even organize a group buy code to start oh time or pick up the phone...

I too have similar concerns. A warranty is only as good as a company willing to honor it. Who would we contact in 3 years if Lu isn't around?

Thank you for the update. The code doesn't appear to include the expandable fridge/freezer currently. Are you able to have him update it for those as well?

I was not aware that you had trouble ordering on the phone, next time please let us know here so we can look into it. I know Lu has been busy and trying his best, and i appreciate everyone's patience on this matter. This is not a new issue, and in the end everything still worked out last time even with the communication issues. The important thing is that everyone who ordered got their orders, and that everyone who had an issue with their order got it resolved. Yes, there were some hiccups along the way (like coupon code coming online late and ending early and etc), and i appreciate everyone's patience along the way.

As far the warranty goes, ICECO is much bigger than Lu or I, and will be around long after even if either one of us isn't. Also, the SECOP compressor is warranted by the manufacturer of SECOP, who has been making compressors for big names for decades. The rest of the fridge has a 1-year warranty, and ICECO handles that part and not SECOP; i don't picture them going out of business within the next year.

I'm pretty sure the delays are from waiting on inventory to come in. The TRs are in by the way, but i am still waiting on specs.

Anyways, i will be live for most of today while working on this (price sheet and comparison table), and it's easier to answer questions through there rather than type it out here. You will also get a faster response by asking through the chat in the live stream.

@CowboyTaco Time is 33:36 when I started talking about the Jackery, in case the timelink did not work.

I have my jackery at 100%, and will test today to see how long 167Whs can sustain the fridge after it has gotten up to the temp you set it at, aka sustain consumption. Will keep you updated at end of day or whenever the Jackery runs out of power.

Next Week - Depends on your location.
Two Weeks - Seems to be the average for last group buy.

While we are on the subject, please consider that there are many shipping delays from the Shipping companies now, so once you get a tracking number from ICECO and there has been at least 1 scan from the shipping company, then it is no longer in ICECO's hands. Mine took almost two weeks, and for 1 of those weeks it sat in the UPS store.

I see that the VL35's are out of stock but website shows the other sizes in stock. I'm looking for the 52L expandable. Could he clarify if those are in stock and how to apply the discount to it? I can also call him but was going to pay via paypal.

I am waiting for a response from Lu as to whether or not the discount will be extended to the models that are arriving late. I would assume so because that’s what happened last time for the out of stock VLs, that they extended the coupon to accommodate for those after they arrived. Will keep you posted as soon as I find out, as that was the last question I asked him today.

@wlittleman Thanks for the kind words brother and that sounds like a solid plan. You might even be able to do it without having to run a wire to the back; I go Jackery into house plug in back, then fridge into Jackery. That’s if I only had fridge to power.
