What temperature do you set your fridge at?

  • 0°F - I like using it for Meats, Ice Cream and other Frozen Foods!

Anyways, i really need a nap lol, but i am waiting for the fridge to drop to 30 and waiting on the jackery to get to 100% from 80%. After that i will leave a camera on them both and leave a live feed on while i nap. This will give us an idea of how much power it uses/how long a Jackery 160 (167wHs) will last when trying to maintain an internal temp of 30 degrees, while outside temp is about 80-85. Will go live once Jackery is fully charged, and then i will be napping in the background so don't expect responses in chat for this stream lol. After my nap i will finish price sheet and go from there! Thanks everyone.

Update: Feed is live and you can see for yourself what kind of power consumption my VL 45 uses once it gets up to temp (sustained consumption), and see how long a fully-charged Jackery 160 can keep it at temp in 80-85-degree weather for. It will be similar to most models since all ICECo fridges use the same SECOP compressors.

Result of power consumption test yesterday:

Jackery 160 (167wHs fully charged) was able to keep fridge at 32 F for 8.5 hours with outside temp being around 80F. First 50% lasted 5 hours then i started cooking and snacking (opened fridge about 10 times), then second 50% lasted 3.5 hours.

Glad to know, I have a 160 also, just decide to pull the trigger on VL45, deeply appreciate your hard working on this group buy.

It's Red-Caturday (Redcat makes RC Trucks), so i will finish the ICECO price list but also will be working on and playing with Tofu, my Remote Control Camera Truck today (driveshaft being delivered any minute now!). It does not matter what i am streaming at the time, everyone here is always welcomed to stop by with any questions. I also check here very frequently. Also i apologize about the sound quality in some parts from yesterday's stream, it's something i am actively working to refine.

No response on the 52L yet, and i think they are closed on weekends. With the Last GB, the models that were out of stock were offered for a few days at the discounted price once they became available. I am hoping this is the case again, and i update you guys as soon as i find out. They have said numerous times that the expandable will be included in the discounted price, and i think now it's just a matter of waiting for it to come into stock. Will confirm or deny this hopefully on monday. Thank you for the interest!

I will probably look to get the Jackery 240 (or comparable). I appreciate your "real world" test. That is very good to know!

I will say that i am a little confused as he said to follow the website for in stock/out of stock, but now hes saying its outdated. Hey sorry about that, i was spaced out and just now noticed you asked in chat. The bags are out but the VL45s should be in stock. As of right now we have not seen any VL45 with bag combo yet, but i will keep everyone posted if it becomes an option. Thanks!
