Anything going on in So Cal in late Sept?

I'll be in LA for a wedding on Sept 25th. Is there anything I shouldn't miss out on in the week before or after?. We'll likely be driving Charla's bone stock BJ73 but I *might* have a trail ready BJ60 together by then.
