Anyone want to check a cruiser for me in Anderson?

It is Anderson near the Hartwell dam.

I am in Savannah so no quick trip to scout it out. Its and 88, pics look pretty good. Here are the questionable items:

Brake pedal goes to the floor, owner says the fluid is fine.
Exhaust is fairly rusty, says it is operational but will need to be replaced eventually.
Minor rust on some body panels, tailgate.
The truck hasn't been driven hardly at all in the past 3 years. I am worried about dried out hoses/gaskets etc...

This is listed on craigs, jleefj62 says it has been listed before, maybe someone has seen it. Send me a pm if you are interested, or know of a mechanic that would go take a look.

FWIW I looked at this cruiser 2+ years ago......

My memory is a little fuzzy but it seems like I remeber it being a little more rusty than I expected. and it was undriveable do to the brake issue..... so you def. might want to have someone look it over in person.

hopefully someone from the Anderson area will chime in and help you out.

I'm 10 min from down town greenville and that's not very close to greenville. Thats a good hour and a half drive.


I'd definately say it's not driveable. Stopping is the most important part of going.

It's ROUGH.... lots of frame rot too. Not worth the drive to look at.... IMHO.
