i'm looking for CHEAP!!!!!!!!!! lol and functional. i only have 1 tailight for my lc as the other went missing way before i bought it. i did buy a lighting kit for a trailer for 20 dollars but they were weird shaped and were a lil too big, no big deal as i have a trailer that needs to have lights put on it.

They might actually be OEM style not OEM but they are 30-40 bucks depending on which ones you get square are more

about 35 for the round ones on an early FJ bumper mount

come without the bracket and gasket though

I would think you could get some 4 inch lights really cheap locally especially if they are not LED you may want to check out autoparts, truck stop, or maybe like tractor supply

We use those same light on all are ready mix trucks at work. Try your local parts store we pay a lot less than that. The ones we ues are grote and can get the brackets in ss.

thanks for the response guys. brackets aren't a big deal, i work in a factory that is a metal manufacturer. i already have scrap metal set off to the side for brackets. all i gotta do is get them and make a cardboard template go to work use a sheer and a wholesaw. then i get to send it through the automated powdercoat booth. for 26 bucks that is pretty cheap.

I bought the oval ones from Manafree and ended up buying others (white reverse lights) and found out they were cheaper at the truck stop. May want to check your local truck stop.

x2.

Much cheaper at the local truck stop.

Not on my cruiser, but...

Pretty simple. The only bugaboo is that the turn signals on my pickup (and HJ-45) are a separate amber light, and these simply flash the brake light portion to act as a turn signal. I'm lazy, so I didn't hook them up to act as turn signals.

People definitely know when I'm stopping now, and at night they can't miss when I back up! (the LED backup lights are CRAZY expensive, BTW).

You can get these in LED and non-LED styles, the plugs and sizes are standard, so it's easy to switch down the road to one or the other.

You will need to address the oem flasher in your truck, it wil need to be replaced with one for led lights or a non-load dependent type. 12-25 bucks for the flasher or solder resisters in line (they burn out frequently)

standard truck light. i'm running the ovals, 2 brake/tail, 2 progressive arrows for turn. truck stop will be cheaper, just be sure to go with a good brand like trucklite or grote. pm and maximma are ok also, but not quite as good quality, imo.

can anyone point me to a cheap flasher for my led's? all the ones i found are like 40 dollars

Okay sparky....here's the deal:

Go to your local Pilot, FlyingJ, TA or Sapp Bro's truckstop.

They have a 4" round LED Tail with Orange Circle LED surrounding the outside.
They're around $15.00 to 25.00 each....and kick ass!

Plus you don't have to dump your money to Man-I-Wish I hadn't.

This is a link to a similar supplier as what the Truckstop will likely have.

4 Inch LED Stop Tail Turn Signal Lamps

The truckstops typically carry a DOT approved light- which may have more diodes.

Enjoy!

not necessarily, even the 8 diode lights are dot. but if you look at a catalog, you will be able to find five or six different variations per manufacturer, dependant on number of diodes requested. a lot of the truck stops will carry the minimum options because they are cheaper and cheaper sells.

here's a link to check out to see the differences. keep in mind that even the lowest grade lights on this page are dot rated. Truck-Lite - Catalog : S/T/T & F/P/T Lamps

for anyone going to cruise moab, the western rep for truck lite should be there on vendor night for any questions.

Again this should be available at a truck stop or truck light store. You'll need one for led lights, they are rated for the number of lights, 12 lights 16 lights or more. You can find a flasher at auto parts stores to but you need to research what models are nonload dependent.

Quick note-I believe thermal units are the ones that are load dependent. maybe a non-thermal unit then. I did some googling and found stuff but mostly motorcycle, same deal really.
