Hey was wondering if anyone knew what year and model the tan driver seat came off of. The brackets on the sides of the driver seat where the bottom and top cushions attach are different from the black 71 driver seat I have in the second group of photos. Was just wondering if it’s a very early fj40 driver seat or possibly a fj45 swb seat. Thanks for any help

I'm sorry the first seat I was referring to is the lighter colored seat. I didn't see an adjuster on it.
Yea I can’t tell if the bottom of the seat where there are snapped off bolts are from where swb seat bracket bolts to it or if that’s where the seat adjuster would of bolted to on a fj40

Hey I think you were right about it being a fixed top 45 seat. There are no brackets on the tan seat for the seats adjuster. I also noticed the back of the seat doesn’t have the posts to slide into the “2” rear driver seat brackets like the black 71 seat does. Thanks for your help

Im in the process on refurbishing a FJ40 1968 model. I did not have any seats for it. Just last year I was able to find some seats for it. Ones I found from a FJ40 1968 (assumed year by a "proffesional"), they were similar than your tans. I also found a passenger seat from a newer one, like your blacks. The hinges are dirrefent and also some small differences in the frame.
